Throughout 2016 and in January of 2017 musicians gathered and, with songs written with inspiration from the psalms and other scriptures, created the recordings that we are proud to present to you here. This collection is the second volume of songs from Mixed Multitude Music.

The title of the collection “For and Not Against” is from one of the songs in the collection, and articulates an overarching message of the songs on the album: there is a sovereign, unchanging, and benevolent creator God who is on your side. We send these songs out to you as a reminder of this truth, as good news to comfort and guide you on the path that you find yourself on.
